Longue vie à la France

Longue vie à la France
Dr. Jassim Taqui

Al-Bab strongly condemns the Bastille Day terrorist attack that killed at least 84 people and injured over 100 others. The incident happened when a truck rammed into a crowd during the celebration in Nice, France. We express full solidarity with the people and the government of France in this critical phase.

The French police have identified the attacker as the French national Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhle. He was born in Tunisia. His identity was also confirmed by the Tunisian government.

So far, the motive of this brutal massacre is not known. The French police are also attempting to know the accomplices of Bouhle.

If Bouhle is not linked to ISIS, he should have been influenced by its brutal way of killing people. Consequently, the blame should be put on the ISIS, the rogue elements, and the non-state actors who either created this monster or penetrated its ranks to achieve their agenda of spreading, terror, a fear, and anarchy in targeted states.

To do justice to the victims of this massacre, the French government should consider taking action against those who created ISIS. For French intelligence agencies, this task is not difficult if there is a political will to engage in a real fight to eliminate ISIS’ leaders and fighters, especially in Syria and Iraq.

The godfathers of ISIS are implementing a well-defined scheme of creating ethnic strife in the European countries against the minority Muslim community or/and destabilized the European countries.

The Muslim minorities in Europe should fully cooperate with law enforcing agencies to identify and frustrate all attempts to destabilize Europe or to create Islam phobia and hatred.
