Al Zahrani shines in Saudi 86th National Day

Al Zahrani shines in Saudi 86thNational Day
Dr. Jassim Taqui

Having known the Saudi  Ambassador  Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani both as DCM and now as Ambassador, I can say that Pakistan is lucky to be blessed by such a through professional diplomat.

What has helped him rise in diplomacy so rapidly is his amicable personality. He is a soft spoken, smiling and easy to approach. He maintains good ties with all. However, with his friends, he does not hesitate from pointing out their drawbacks albeit in a light spirit.

Al Zahrani stole the show in the reception he hosted to celebrate the 86th National Day anniversary of Saudi Arabia. He was the most sought after person. He was keen to meet everyone and take photo with a large number of people.

A large number of elites of Islamabad and Rawalpindi were in attendance including the Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif , Governor Punjab Malik Rafiq Rajwana, Leader of the House in Senate Raja Zafarul Haq, head of Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Affairs Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Senator Mushahid Hussain, Pakistan Muslim League chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Senator Lt. General (Retd) Abdul Qayyum, Maulana Sami ul Haq, Professor Sajid Mir, Allama Tahir Asharafi, former senator Wasim Shehzad of PTI, Mayor of Islamabad Ansar Aziz.
