Modi plans desertification of Pakistan

Modi plans desertification of Pakistan
Dr. Jassim Taqui

Having failed to establish any link between Pakistan and Uri suicide operation, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to “isolate Pakistan internationally.” He decided to freeze composite dialogue, halt trade with and lately threatened to run Pakistan dry by building dams on the sources of three vital rivers of Pakistan; Chenab, Sind and Jhelum.

In the process, Modi is helping himself and his army to ensure that people would not deliberate Uri attack as a False Flag Operation. One can admit that Modi here is a genius.

Modi never bothers that his step violates international law and the World Bank guaranteed the Indus Water Treaty of 1960. Pakistan agreed to give up two vital rivers; Beas and Sutlej to ensure the uninterrupted water of the remaining three rivers.

In fact, Modi has already started building illegal dams on the sources of Pakistani rivers in total disregard of international laws and Indus Water Treaty of 1960.
This should be evidence that Modi is running a “hate-strategy” not against the government of Pakistan but indeed against 200 million of its people.

Fortunately, for Pakistan, however, the sources of Indus are located in China. Pakistan expects Beijing not to permit Modi implementing his game of collected punishment of the people of Pakistan.

It is also possible that Modi is taking such a step to help Nawaz Sharif divert the attention of the people of Pakistan from his massive corruption as outlined by the Panama Leaks and the criminal case registered against him and his Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for the involvement in the Model Town massacre.

One can also conclude that the Nawaz Sharif-Modi nexus is not by default but rather by design. He is ready to be a Modi puppet, tame the strong military establishment, and compromise all national interests of Pakistan just to save himself and his family from accountability. The Sharif brothers are supreme, never mind what will happen to 200 million people of Pakistan. However, one would like to ask, “How can you escape the wrath of God?”
