Unidentified gunmen have stormed a police training center in the city of Quetta. About 200 to 500 cadets could be inside according to various estimates. There have been no reports of casualties in the attack.

Police and security forces are at the scene and cordoned off the area. Heavy exchange of fire continues from both sides. Five to six terrorists barged into the academy from the back- side. Police stated that the attackers "went straight to the hostel" of the academy, where around 200 to 250 police recruits "normally stay." They were wwearing suicide vests. The Interior Minister has established a special room to monitor the situation.
