The rogues combine to attack the Pak Military Establishment

The rogues combine to attack thePak Military Establishment
Dr. Jassim Taqui

With the accumulation of evidence against the prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family in their involvement in massive corruption cases including drug money laundering,  something unthinkable is happening. Domestic and international rogue individuals and institutions are intervening not to defend the corrupt but ironically to attack the wrong party i.e the Establishment.

The BBC (Urdu Service) has stepped in on Friday to show that Nawaz Sharif was the owner of the London flats since the 1990s. The BBC showed with evidence, marked contrasts in the oft-changed stances of the prime minister and his defense.

On the domestic level, two Federal Ministers and one Punjab provincial minister ( Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, and Ranna Sanaullah respectively) are waging a media war against former COAS Gen. Raheel Sharif. All are spitting venom against the army on behalf of the prime minister. They think themselves clever while all and sundry know fully well the attack is in fact directed against the sitting COAS Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa indirectly because the trio and their master don’t have the gut to attack a sitting COAS. They lack courage now as they lacked it when Gen. Raheel Sharif was the COAS.
But why army-bashing now? Why the army bashing has started even as Gen. Bajwa is less than one and half month in office? Well, Gen. Bajwa has vowed to protect the dignity and honor of the army which was compromised by Nawaz Sharif and his daughter  Maryam Nawaz in their infamous Dawn Leak.

Gen. Raheel Sharif lacked the moral courage to pursue the fake leak. But Bajwa stated that he would not let this treason crime under the rug. Maryam Nawaz and the prime minister were using Viber in passing one leak after another to domestic and international rogues. The LEAs have recorded these leaks. They would make a stir if they release them. However, they are waiting for the zero-hour before they stun the domestic and international rogues.  Got it?
