Playing with the devil

Playing  with the devil
Dr. Jassim Taqui

I am good, but not an angel. I do sin, but I am not the devil. I am just a small girl in a big world trying to find someone to love.
Marylyn Monroe

Following the suicide attack in the Mall Road, Lahore that killed  16 and wounded over 75 innocent people, the accusation fingers were quickly directed to the PML-N’s connection with the Islamic militant groups. People started recalling the policy of Sharif’s brothers, “ Attack elsewhere except Punjab.” Stories of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah connection with LeJ and SSP were revisited prompting the latter to shift the blame on the protesters for the tragedy.
Ostensibly, something went wrong following a long honeymoon between the Sharif Brothers and the militants. Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif could not protect the leaders of TTP, Jamaat- al - Ahrar, TTP, LeJ, SSP and their ilk whose backs are broken by fatal strikes by the armed forces of Pakistan. Hence, an operation has to be conducted.
Those who are playing with the devil or acting as “ devil advocates,” were given a message.
The devil is clever. He sides with the failed persons. He gives them false fame and wealth and then reverses everything. The fame becomes “scandalous.” The wealth turns to be illegal money that is earned through the laundering of the drug money. Thus, playing with the devil is not that easy especially when the devil surprises all those who sell their souls to him.

Ultimately the move of embracing devils followers everywhere be it in the West or in the East especially in India including those whose hands are stained with the blood of innocent Muslims of Gujrat is deemed to fail.
