Mona honors Antoine and Kassem

In honor of the members of the Lebanese Parliament Brig. Antoine Saad and Dr. Kassem Hashem, the Ambassador of Lebanon Mona El Tannir host at her residence a luncheon. A large number of Arab Ambassadors and DHMs attended along with the Additional Secretary for the Middle East Tasawar Khan.

Mona delighted her guests with delicious Lebanese cuisine, hospitality and her pleasing personality.
Under her tenure, the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Pakistan have assumed a new dimension of interaction and cooperation.

Now, there is a reciprocal support for the candidates of both countries in different UN bodies and organizations. Additionally, the two countries enjoy military cooperation.
Pakistan offers on gratis vacancies to the Lebanese  Army for various training courses of the Pakistan Army in different training institutions and universities especially NDU and Command and Staff College. Further, four Lebanese officers are participating in short courses of the Air Force.


With the political stability in Lebanon following Gen. Michel Aoun assuming charge of the Presidency in Lebanon, tourism has flourished. The Lebanese Embassy in Islamabad is issuing scores of tourism visas to Pakistani nationals.
