A conspiracy against Pakistan

A conspiracy against Pakistan
Dr. Jassim Taqui

Having failed in their nefarious attempts to break the will of Pakistani Army through their stooges, foreign powers, vested interests and non-state actors, they are now engaged into a psychological warfare.
Ostensibly, the objective is to spread doom and despair among the civil society. Suddenly, they brought to the fore Ayman Al-Zawahiri, claiming he was planning a big terrorist operation in Karachi with the help of banned outfits.

Then came the news that Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS), an offshoot of Al- Qaeda, was regrouping.

Al-Zawahiri is said to have  pledged allegiance to the new leader of Taliban, inviting Muslim nation to support the Islamic Emirate.

Clearly, some hidden hand is behind all these developments. Most probably, the objective is to prepare a case of extending the use of drones against specific targets not only in Balochistan but also in Karachi.

After spreading doom in the Middle East and North Africa, Barak Obama is focusing on Pakistan in a mission that has become an open secret. However, Obama is outwitted by valiant resistance.

All these policies and the deliberate attempts to isolate Pakistan politically , militarily and economically through forming anti Pakistan alliance  (US-India-Iran-Afghanistan) could backfire. The alliance is only pushing Pakistan to sign military pact with China and Russia.

Obama would leave office within months. Nevertheless, he would leave behind him a legacy of death , destruction and failure to achieve any objective that serves the national interest of the United States.
