SCO foils the big game

SCO foils the big game
Dr. Jassim Taqui

Expect more surprises in South Asia, Central Asian Republics and global strategic scene very soon.

On June, 23-24, the 16thSummit meeting of SCO would be held at Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Pakistan would be officially inducted as a permanent member.

The implications would be tremendous. Pakistan would not only be closer with China. It would have the golden opportunity to strengthen economic, trade, security and military ties with the Russian Federation. This would be the beginning of the end of the US dominance in Pakistan.

As a matter of fact, Obama should take the credit for this U-turn from America. His complete tilt towards India and Iran is responsible for the subsequent action.

Al-Bab suggested way back in 2011 that Pakistan has to open up massively on Russia and to follow a Swiss model of neutrality so that its relations with the United States, European Union and other Western nations should not be compromised.

By ignoring, the strategic importance of Pakistan and attempting to bring India to the Afghan turmoil through the crumbling regime of the mullahs in Iran, the Obama administration has done yet another blunder. It exhibited lack of vision and the dynamics of futurism in a region where exists four major nuclear powers.

With a firm link  with SCO, the Pentagon game of dividing Pakistan into several states would crumble whether you have moles inside or in London.
