The UNIC concluded the series of film show to highlight human rights abuse  through Cinematography by  screening: A Girl In The River in the auditorium of Comsats University, Islamabad.
The plot:
A woman in Pakistan sentenced to death for falling in love becomes a rare survivor of the country's harsh judicial system.

The screening was followed by a lively panel discussion and panel-audience Q&A session.
The panelists included Kamran Michael, Federal Minister of Human Rights, Isabelle Gattiker, Director, International Film Festival of Human Rights, Geneva; Anne Marchal, Deputy Head of Mission, Buhne, UN Resident Coordinator.
