 Taliban loyalty in doubt

Dr. Jassim Taqui

DG Al-Bab Institute for Strategic Studies

Islamabad, August 1, 2021:In a drastic change of policy, the Establishment starts to cast doubt on the loyalty of the Taliban(T). Ostensibly, T started to take the issue of alliance with TTP lightly. The TTP has been targeting the LEAs in a sustained manner. The targets also include minorities, CPEC, and Chinese personnel working to implement various infrastructure projects. None could be safe not even the Chines Ambassador to Pakistan.

Apparently, TTP is working methodically to export the Afghan civil war to Pakistan.

Under this circumstance, T’s alliance with TTP is a betrayal to the people of Pakistan. Thus a decision should be taken on part ways with TTP.

What T and TTP fail to understand is that Pakistan can handle them and all terrorist outfits with its Burraq military drones. In 2009 Pakistan became the fourth country after the US, UK, and Israel. Burraq did well in 2014’s  Zarb-e-Azab operation and the subsequent Rad dull Fasaad, which is ongoing in all parts of Pakistan.

Time is changing folks. The latest military technology is lethal when combined with A. I (Artificial Intelligence). Pakistan has mastered both. Thus, take care and don’t play with fire. The Pak army is ready to strike hard against the terrorists and foreign-funded militias and mafias operating in Pakistan
