New U.S. Embassy Website Offers Information on Programs and Resources

Al-Bab Report

Islamabad, September 9, 2016 – American Ambassador David Hale officially launched the U.S. Mission to Pakistan’s new and improved website with an online greeting for all virtual guests.

In his message, Ambassador Hale invites everyone to the website to see “all of the different ways America and Pakistan are working together … and see how cooperation between our two nations makes our enduring partnership grow even stronger.”  You can view the Ambassador’s message and all of the features of the website at http://pk.usembassy.gov.

The official website has a wealth of resources, including information about applying for a U.S. visa, job vacancy announcements, and official press releases.  American citizens in Pakistan will find resources about passports, businesspeople can learn about doing business in Pakistan and the United States, and students can find more information about studying in America.  The new website also has information about the three U.S. Consulates and the services they provide, as well as information about Lincoln Corners in Pakistan.

Follow the Embassy and U.S. Consulates on social media – Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and Instagram. Links can be found at https://pk.usembassy.gov/social-media/.  We look forward to hearing from you!
