Obama angers Saudi Arabia, GCC, Arab League, OIC

Obama angers Saudi Arabia, GCC, Arab League, OIC
Dr. Jassim Taqui

Just before the end of his second term as the President of the United States, Barak Obama precipitated a move to sue Saudi Arabia for its alleged role in 9/11. The Republicans submitted a bill on the subject, which was vetoed by Obama immediately. Obama never tried to convince the Congress to reconsider its move against a staunch ally of the United States. Thus, the immediate use of the veto was by design since Obama knew that the Congress would veto-the-veto; opening the door before all and sundry to malign and blackmail Saudi Arabia.

The Saudis fear that attempts would be made to freeze its bank accounts and investment in the United States and EU a la Iranian and Russian sanctions. One estimate shows that the Saudis have total investment in the US and EU in excess of $ 3 trillion.

Additionally, Saudi Arabia has made considerable achievements in fighting terrorists and extremists. By suddenly deciding to hold the Saudis accountable for 9/11 after a silence of 15 years is a mind-boggling policy.

The Saudis would be supported by GGC, OIC, and Arab League in their legitimate effort to protect their wealth from thieves. In the process, the entire Arab and Muslim World would view America as an enemy and not an ally. Rather, they would side with the anti-US powers especially the Russian Federation to protect their national interests.

Riyadh has already started this process by markedly improving ties with Moscow. Furthermore, the Saudis have decided to invest in CPEC; foiling Indo-US alliance to sabotage the economic project.
One would ask Obama as what you have achieved from such a policy? Why do you act against the higher national interests of the United States? Are you planning to go back to Kenya or are intending to re-settle in India?

Why don’t you answer the numerous American research papers, which suggest that 9/11 was an “inside job” or a false flag operation?
